1st September 1989
We left early in the morning (in the rain). I was sick 2 times on the way but I wasn't sick today.

Thursday 13th 1989
Today we had another shower and did odd jobs. Left for Greenland in the evening. Saw whales all round us blowing.

Friday 14th 1989
It was rough and horrid. Saw two ice bergs far off. I was sick.

Saturday 15th 1989
It is wet and horrid. Saw berg close up. I was sick.

Sunday 16th 1989
Lots of wind very rough. I was sick. Saw dolphins in the evening right beside us playing with us. They were in a pock of about 50. They kept coming and going.

Monday 17th 1989
It is a nice day but nothing happened.
